Beck Technology Donates to the Alzheimer's Association
Beck Technology’s core values of passion, innovation, and caring aren’t just something we diligently pour into our DESTINI suite of preconstruction software, but they are also the foundation of our company culture.
To keep each other held accountable for demonstrating passion, innovation, and caring, we encourage recognizing when coworkers and team members demonstrate these core values. When someone lends a hand on another’s project, helps solve a problem, or even just offering a sympathetic ear, there are many ways each Beck Technology employee shows passion, innovation, and caring in and outside of the office.
A big part of passion, innovation, and caring are appreciating the efforts our team members do to make each other’s lives better—just like we strive with making preconstruction better through our products. Through 15Five, a tool we use helps us increase employee engagement and manage performance, we give each other virtual high fives
Every month, we meet as a company and read that month’s high fives. One employee is nominated to choose the charity or organization of their choice for Beck Technology to donate to. Our latest Beck Tech employee to win the Beck Tech Cares nomination was Account Manager Frank Dickenson and he chose The Alzheimer’s Association.
Frank says:
“I chose to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association because I watched my grandmother fight this disease for years and saw the toll it took not only on her but also my grandfather and our entire family. Over 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, so I think it is imperative that we do anything we can to help find better ways of detecting Alzheimer’s and dementia earlier on, fund research to create better treatments, and hopefully someday find a cure. I really encourage everyone to do some research and learn more about the signs of Alzheimer’s and dementia so that you can help loved ones and friends catch this disease as early as possible.”
The Alzheimer’s Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the care and support of those affected by Alzheimer’s, research treatments, prevention, and cures, and advocacy.
