Target Value Design

An essential element of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Target Value Design (TVD) can be a major catalyst for project success for a team willing to work both collaboratively and transparently and embrace an approach different from current practice. During this webinar DPR Construction will cover the basic elements of what it takes to execute TVD throughout the entire design and construction process, including discussing what are key concepts and tools that are essential for the successful implementation of TVD.
The presenter, Josh Bronitsky, has been with DPR Construction for over seven years. Josh's first experience with Integrated Project Delivery and Target Value Design came as a project engineer on the four-party Autodesk 1 Market project in 2008. Since then, he has been both Preconstruction and Project Manager on Sutter's IPD healthcare projects in Castro Valley, CA.
All projects were delivered on schedule and on budget and developed 'raving fans' who have since become repeat customers. Josh is now actively trying to apply these IPD behaviors to a $510M, 537,000 sq.ft. expansion children's hospital on the Stanford campus.

John has been improving real organizational value through facilitating Value Management sessions for upwards of 20 years and 200+ studies.

The thoughts and theories behind Lean Construction processes have been around for years in the manufacturing sector. The construction industry is starting to implement these efficiencies to save time, material and money.
Jason Mayes of Beck Technology gave us an introduction to the Lean Construction process and tools. He spoke about Last Planner System (LPS), A3, Target Value Design, and Choosing by Advantage. The results of Lean Construction were also discussed.
